Detoxing Your Home

When we hear the word detox or detoxing, we usually think of our body.   Well sometimes our home or work areas can use some detoxing too.   Especially during the winter months when our house is locked up tighter than a drum! Our home or office can be very toxic from the materials inside our home to the chemicals and products we use every day. One way to detox (simply) is to use essential oils and diffuse them in your house.   One essential oil designed for this specific reason is Purification from Young Living.   Even if you cannot diffuse it, for example in your office or at your desk, put a few drops on a cotton ball and place on your desk or near your computer. Another way is to invest in some indoor plants designed to help detox.   Here is a list that I and others believe to be in the top 10: Peace Lily filters benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, and toluene. Snake Plant filters benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, and toluene
